Today I was fortunate to be able to handle and inspect the upcoming 250 Kit coming out soon. Heres my impressions with photos:
NOTE! I have no affiliations with the producers of this Kit, this is NOT a paid endorsement,
I'm endorsing it for FREE (its that good)!!
First some measurements I took(with an old measuring tape, so I may be alittle off)
Length: 29.5 " tip to tip
Width at widest point (excluding fenders): 12.5 "
Height from bottom of Hull (not including running gear): 8.5"
Crew Door: 3.5" wide by a litle over 5.25" high
Top of fender to top of hull: 4.5 "
The Track link as they come from the factory, to keep the mold costs down they are injecten molded this way.
After you install the plastic block, these are not like those FOA links at all!
The other side of the track link,
Rear Quater view, the crew door is fuctional,
Another rear quater view, the holse are where the screws go to hold the top and lower half,
Rt front quater view. the top and side doors open as well,
Nice comparison with a 1:1 human for scale refrence, I measured thi sout as 29.5" end to end,
Front Head on view, the gap in the Engine hood will be corrected in the production run I was told,
Top overhead view, the visors are funtional as well,
Lt rear quater shot showing the running gear and where the two halves mate,
Nice pic of the tracks, without the supplied cover blocks installed
Underside, the wheels are connected and turn Lt and Rt, once again the holes are where the screws go,
Right front quater Pic, nice looking Vehicle in my opinion, very customizable or right out of the box,
Overhead view showing the crew compartment,
The front wheels, rubber of course,
Awesome Drive sprocket, nice detail,
Looking thru the crew door into the interior,
Right rear corner, I was told what little tooling marks you may see here will be gone on the production run, this pre- production 250 was injection molded before the molds were cleaned up,
Another rear shot, great looking fenders!
And the last pic showing a side view, The possibilities for this vehicle are endless, think of all the variations you can do!
Heres 2 shots of the interior, very basic and no tranny cover. the seats need a little work. The tabs you see on th ewall are where the fenders are attached and screwed on.
The floor is removeable so you can customize it to any version of the 250.
Heres a pic of the track link showing the plugs that are installed to cover the link pin. Also thi sis th edark gray color that the plastic will be molded in.

Final thoughts,
For the price this is being offered, its a STEAL! Completely injection molded, this is a multiple buy for me. I'm already working on new Decal Sets for this puppy.
